The 7Gr. Coffee Studios are spaces designed for those who want to go beyond the simple daily coffee ritual: places where coffee can truly be discovered, tasted and understood.

Since 2014, with our first Coffee Studio in Via Valparaiso, we have built a reference point for specialty coffee culture in Milan.
With the new space in Corso Venezia, this experience evolves into an even more immersive and contemporary concept, where tasting, consultation and research come together in the heart of the city.

Coffee studio 7gr. Valparaiso

The Via Valparaiso Coffee Studio is the original heart of the Sevengrams project: a hybrid space where a specialty coffee store, training center and workshop come together to build a true coffee culture. Here, the operational side of roasting meets education and research, creating an environment where coffee becomes a living subject to study, taste and discuss.

Inside, a carefully curated selection of specialty coffees sits alongside a wide range of brewing equipment and accessories, making the Coffee Studio a reference point for those who want to bring home not just a product, but a more conscious coffee experience.

Making this dimension even more tangible is the presence of Roastery Lot Zero — located next to the space — the project dedicated to specialty coffee, where selection and roasting are carried out with transparency and precision. A laboratory of continuous research into origin, process and sensory profile, where each lot is developed to express the true identity of the bean at its best.

The Valparaiso Coffee Studio is not a café, but a place for ongoing exploration and learning, frequented by professionals and enthusiasts looking for a deeper understanding of coffee beyond the simple daily ritual. A layered space — technical yet accessible — where every detail, from origin and roasting to extraction, becomes part of a broader story.

Wandered into this shop and had a blast of an experience - we were very kindly served espresso shots of their special blends and walked away with two bags of really good beans to bring home. I must say that the people at this establishment love coffee with a huge passion, this is the first time in my life that I have been offered to have the filters sealed to bring home, and the first time I was able to chat about coffee in a relaxed way and express a shared preference for Brazilian beans. Shop seems very well stocked with a lot of good equipment. Will be back if I ever come back to Milan to get more gear.

So I went to the roastery by accident but Daniela (one of the four sister owners) welcomed me with open arms. That’s not their cafe and she’s not a barista (as she reminded me more than once) but she made me an awesome cappuccino with a great coffee (I bought a bag). We also had a great discussion re the specialty coffee business in Milan and the coffee palate generally of the Milanese. She served me Italian cookies she happened to have around and I enjoyed my time enormously. I cannot recommend this place more highly: they source phenomenal coffees and the service is amazing.

A truly amazing place for coffee lovers. They have everything you could imagine, including an impressive variety of coffees roasted by themselves. The depth, clarity, and quality of their coffee is outstanding. On top of that, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Visiting 7 Grams was such a beautiful experience — I absolutely loved discovering this place!

Sevengrams should be everyone's go-to spot for purchasing anything they need for coffee: from beans to equipment. They roast their own beans in house, and have a variety of coffee at every price range. Their more expensive blends have unique aromas and flavours, and if you like coffee I would highly recommend picking one up. The staff is also incredibly helpful and I've never left without being welcomed and walked through exactly what I was looking for. Thanks to Martina and Giuseppe and everyone else for all the help.

Although it is not a café, they sell coffee to make, accessories l, and offer coffee workshops. Daniela and her colleagues were very nice to offer us some of the best coffee we’ve had. Highly recommended, a great environment, warm humans.

In the heart of Milan, just steps away from Porta Venezia, Coffee Studio 7Gr. – Corso Venezia is a contemporary space entirely dedicated to the world of coffee. Not a traditional café, but a vertical concept focused on specialty coffee, created for those who want to experience coffee through tasting, discovery and coffee culture.

Inside the Coffee Studio, guests can taste more than 20 different coffees, including blends and single origins sourced from some of the world’s finest coffee-growing regions. The selection ranges from more classic flavour profiles to highly distinctive specialty coffees. Espresso, filter coffee, batch brew and different extraction methods allow visitors to explore coffee through its many aromatic nuances, making every visit a different experience.

The project was created with the goal of offering the right coffee for every moment of the day and for every kind of coffee drinker — from everyday espresso to more complex and experimental coffees dedicated to specialty coffee enthusiasts.

Beyond tasting experiences, the space also features a curated selection of freshly roasted coffees, espresso and filter brewing equipment, accessories, and objects dedicated to coffee culture.

Today, Coffee Studio 7Gr. – Corso Venezia represents one of Milan’s reference points for specialty coffee: a place where coffee is not just a beverage, but an experience to truly discover and taste.

The Corso Venezia Coffee Studio is open every day, Monday to Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and on Sundays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
The takeaway coffee service is available until 5:00 PM.

Absolutely an incredible experience. And ‘all’ I had was a hand pour-over coffee! But it was done exceptionally well and from very knowledgeable staff. The fun part was meeting the owner. A third generation of coffee roasters. She knows COFFEE! Then my hand pour-over was expertly made by a young man (can’t recall his name but he’s Persian and an expert at being kind, friendly and making coffee!!). Small little shop stocked with freshly roasted beans. Only a stool to sit so plan on standing st the counter and learning from the best! The choices are plentiful. When you order coffee, you choose the bean you would like. Prices are reflected by the grade of bean. Ohhhh my. So many! And I treated myself to a ‘RARE’ COLOMBIA LA MACARENA YELLOW BOURBON so the cost was 13,€. The coffee was worth it just I was worth getting to try it! Thank you both for the wonderful experience. I am still ‘on a high’ as a good coffee experience should always offer!

The best coffee in Milan! ☕️ They have an amazing selection of different coffee beans and flavors, and the atmosphere is absolutely lovely. We were also lucky enough to meet the owner, which made the experience even more special. We had two milk-based drinks to enjoy there and took a bag of coffee beans with us — everything was excellent! Thank you for the lovely conversation and, of course, for the delicious coffee! We’ll definitely be back. ❤️

The perfect spot for coffee lovers it became a daily essential for us, the espresso is perfect and the V60 is amazing. The variety of coffee makes it hard to drink just one cup we end up trying 2 or 3 kinds in each visit and every one of them is amazing. Also great atmosphere, loved the place.

Incredible place, they have a whole library of beans and can make any of them for you. The owners are exceptionally friendly, it’s really enjoyable to talk to them. I met some really nice people there too, it’s really small so it’s easy to talk to strangers

I had a great iced pour over early this morning. As I walked in, one of the workers was explaining the coffee process to the small group that had been there. The staff seem knowledgeable and spoke great English. (I was too tired to engage in too much conversation that early 😅) I also loved the coffee sniffers at the front, really interesting to smell a few of the coffee notes!
